Beam's latest project in Kensington

Beam's latest project in Kensington, London is shaping up nicely as our on-site team completes the first fix. Beam’s design and construction specialist Dan Grimshaw shares some on-site walkthrough footage, which includes the painstaking restoration of Victorian period features, the installation of lighting control, security, air-conditioning, controls for window treatments, sound AV and wifi access. On the energy side there are discrete energy saving solar panels, a bank of batteries for storage and air source heatpumps.

Beam is the main contractor for the above ground phase of works and carrying out a full, luxury refurbishment of the 450 sqm property, which includes a basement cinema room, air conditioning and the installation of all M&E (mechanical & engineering) systems.

Working alongside Beam are:
Architects: RVArchitecture.
Electrical: Tesla
Mechanical: London Concept Developments

This 12-month phase of works is due to be completed in the early summer of 2025 and we’ll bring you further updates and images as this exciting project progresses!
